Track Surfaces

When looking to build a running track in the New England area, it is important to hire a contractor familiar with our dramatic climate conditions. Throughout the years different types of synthetic track systems have proven to fail in New England where they have continued to succeed in other regions of the country. This is due in large part to the varying degrees of moisture transmission and the high number of freeze-thaw cycles our climate puts us through.

Cape & Island Tennis & Track is New England's finest installer of synthetic surfacing. We employ the very best installers and our product line represents the best the industry has to over. We install a wide variety of synthetic track surfaces. Our product line includes Plexitrac® water based polyresin surfaces manufactured by California Products and high performance polyurethane surfaces manufactured by Beynon Sports Surfaces. Our surfaces are back by a rock solid warrantee, and as an “authorized installer” of all our surfaces, our warrantee’s are backed by our manufacturers as well.

BSS-100

Resilient, durable and IAAF Certified, the BSS 100 is the quality track surface solution for schools and local communities who are in search of an all-weather track system. The BSS 100 is a porous, paved-in-place system utilizing a machine installed base of single compound Polyurethane binder and SBR rubber granules and finished with multiple spray applications of 100% solids, pigmented Polyurethane and EPDM granules.

BSS-200

Achieve maximum performance while maximizing your value with the BSS 200—a premier micro-encapsulated track system built to meet virtually every level of competition. The BSS 200 starts with a paved-in-place base layer of Polyurethane and SBR rubber granules. It's then coated with a two-component Polyurethane sealer, making the surface impermeable. Pigmented EPDM granules and Polyurethane combine to form the spray-applied top layer.

BSS-300

Take your track system to the next level with the BSS 300—a flood and chip sandwich system of impermeable design.

This Dual Durometer system features a Polyurethane-bound black rubber base mat, topped with a two-component seal coat. The surface is finished with a flow-applied layer of Polyurethane and your choice of embedded EPDM granules or our state-of-the-art encapsulated texture. BSS-1000
