Cape and Island Tennis & Track has been providing New England with award winning tennis court and running track facilities since 1972. We are a total source sports contractor performing every aspect of facility construction from sub base preparation, laser grading and drainage, right through to surfacing, striping and maintenance. We build every type of tennis court available including asphalt and post-tension concrete "hard courts" and Clay/Har-Tru or synthetic grass "soft courts".

We also specialize in outdoor running track facilities. Our running track synthetic surfaces provide proven aesthetics, athletic performance and time-tested durability. We install the very best Polyresin or Polyurethane surfaces available, and our location makes it easy for us to address our customers needs at any time.

June 25th 2010; Harvard University selects Cape and Island Tennis & Track to replace its outdoor track surface. The synthetic surface on the McCurdy outdoor track has been renovated twice (by competitors) over the past four years with little success. Harvard officials, with the help of its consultant Stantec; worked with CIT&T to develop a solution to Crimson track facility woes. The surface will be replaced with an embedded BSS-300 system manufactured by Beynon Sports Surfaces.

June 14th, 2010; CIT&T begins the complete reconstruction of the running track facility at Winnacunnet Regional High School in Hampton, NH. This will be the first sports facility project in New Hampshire to utilize cooperative purchasing contracts with AEPA awarded vendor Atlas Track & Tennis and its partner in the Northeast, Cape and Island Tennis & Track. This procurement method allows schools to save valuable time and money when buying specialty sports construction items (synthetic turf, running tracks, tennis courts etc.); without having to duplicate a challenging bid process. June 10, 2010; Brewster, MA – CIT&T completes surfacing the first USTA Quick Start tennis courts on Cape Cod. Courts were designed by Gale Associates and built by R.A.D. Sports

May 7th, 2010; Harvard University engages CIT&T & its corporate partner Beynon Sports Surfaces to perform Force Reduction Testing on the Harvard University outdoor and indoor tracks. Using Beynon’s new Berlin Artificial Athlete, CIT&T is able to accurately provide Harvard and its design consultant Stantec with statistical data on its failed outdoor track surface; which was originally installed and resurfaced by competitors.

May 6th, 2010; CIT&T and Beynon Sports Surfaces perform Berlin Artificial Athlete testing on local CIT&T installed track surfaces located at Regis College and Mount Holyoke College to determine actual performance characteristics of properly installed Beynon surface systems.

April 26th, 2010; CIT&T is awarded the resurfacing contract for Waltham’s Leary Field. The existing Plexitrac Accelerator installed by CIT&T eleven years ago is being resurfaced for the first time this summer. This standard maintenance cycle resurface testifies to the longevity and durability of a properly installed Plexitrac System.

April 23rd, 2010; Belmont Hill School chooses CIT&T to perform its running track surface replacement. CIT&T will remove the failed existing track surface and replace it with a BSS-100 Beynon Polyurethane system.

April 19th, 2010; Bridgewater State College and its design consultant Gale Associates select CIT&T to perform the new track surface installation for the new Swensen Field Running Track.

March 11th, 2010; Choate Rosemary Hall School and its design consultant Clough Harbour Associates selects CIT&T to reconstruct the fourteen tennis courts at the Hunt/Logan Tennis Center.

March 3rd, 2010; CIT&T Track Division Vice President Kristoff Eldridge is sent by the ASBA to attend track rules meeting with USA Track & Field, NCAA, NFHS and the NIAAA.

December 7th 2010; The ASBA, RSI Magazine and American Track & Field Magazine presents Outstanding Facility Awards to CIT&T projects. These include Defazio Park in Needham and The Wequasset Resort Tennis Facility.
